As we continue to expand our presence in the market, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us continue to build and expand our presence in the US region.


Position Overview:


As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Overhaul, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by identifying and engaging with potential customers within the US market.

Your primary responsibility will be to generate and qualify leads (accounts), build relationships with key stakeholders, and help establish Overhaul as the go-to solution for in-transit supply chain visibility and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Customized Messaging: Craft tailored messages and value propositions to engage with key decision-makers and influencers at target organizations, both for cold leads and engaged or warm leads.
  • Cold Calling: Initiate outbound calls to prospects, effectively communicate the value of Overhaul solutions, and generate interest in further discussions.

Lead Qualification:


  • Needs Assessment: Engage with leads to identify their pain points, challenges, and supply chain needs. Determine their level of interest, budget, and fit for Overhaul solutions. For inmarket, engaged, or warm leads, tailor your approach to their specific needs and stage in the buying process.
  • Effective Followup: Maintain a structured followup process to nurture leads and move them through to the sales funnel, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. Adapt your approach based on the engagement level of each lead.

  • Sales and

Marketing Alignment:

Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for lead generation and customer engagement.

Provide valuable insights on market trends and customer feedback, including feedback on how engaged or warm leads respond to messaging.

Product Knowledge:


  • Continuous Learning: Develop a deep understanding of Overhaul's solutions and our evolution in the market. Stay updated on product developments and enhancements to effectively communicate Overhaul's value proposition to prospects.

Market Research:


  • Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs to provide valuable insights to the company. Identify opportunities for product improvements and differentiation.

Reporting:


  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and providing regular reports on progress and results. Segment leads based on engagement and readiness to move forward in the sales process.

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in a BDR or similar role, preferably in the software or technology industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsdriven with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics is a plus.
  • Data and process oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, etc.) is a plus.
