Quality Operator
This position is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet Company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests and identifying defects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify and inspect incoming, inprocess, and outgoing material to CelLink and Customer Quality and Engineering requirements and specifications.
  • Promptly communicate emerging and trending quality issues.
  • Proper containment of nonconforming products
  • Live the company culture of integrity, teamwork, selfdiscipline and professional competence
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Experience/Education:


  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or process focused role in a highvolume manufacturing environment preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


  • Mechanical inspection experience using basic and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.).
  • Familiarity with common workplace software (Microsoft Office)
  • Independent problem solver who desires to learn new skills and technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and detailoriented mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements in a fastpaced startup setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

  • Experience in ISO 9001, IATF 1694
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S

Physical Demands - Office and Manufacturing Environment


While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to speak through a microphone or listen for software cues or other indicators that may not be presented visually.

The employee must frequently use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must stand, walk, sit, and use hands and arms to pull/push, reach, climb, or balance; and. Periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus are frequently required.

Work Environment

  • Includes both a typical office environment, with mínimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to chemicals used to run/maintain machines.

PPE

  • Where required, must wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & cleanroom frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures.
