- Conduct setups and load materials in order to perform production operations
- Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure consistent quality and efficient production rates
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure that products meet specifications, using measuring instruments and visual inspection techniques.
- Record production data, such as quantities produced, materials used, and production times
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment, including gloves, safety glasses, and respirators
- Collaborate with other production staff to troubleshoot problems and improve production processes
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and high-quality production
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
- Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or manufacturing is preferred
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing production setting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

POSITION SUMMARY: The production technician will be responsible for efficiently operating specialty CNC manufacturing equipment in a production setting. The technician will be responsible for maintaining quality products and interacting with the operations and engineering teams to improve processes to maximize production volumes and minimize scrapped production due to in-process defects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES ARE A PLUS:
CERTIFICATIONS/LISCENCES: Must obtain and maintain the applicable employee license with the Texas Railroad Commission; must pass test within 45 days of hire. Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.
