    CCFT BIO: Cummins Clean Fuel Technologies designs and manufactures compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems for the heavy-duty truck market.     POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a production testing technician. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various testing methods to verify quality of product in process of manufacturing. You will ensure that our products meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements before they are shipped to our customers.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in testing, data analysis, and quality control.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct setups and load materials in order to perform production operations
    • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and high-quality production
    • Perform testing to ensure that product is free from any leaks or defects.
    • Perform calibration of testing equipment, as needed.
    • Perform quality inspections on manufactured products to ensure that they meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Continuously improve quality control processes and procedures to improve product reliability and safety.
    • Document all test results and inspections in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    • Keep work area clean and organized and maintain equipment in good working condition.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively with all levels of the organization in both verbal and written forms.
    • Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
    • Record and analyze test results to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
    • Work with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to testing.
    • Maintain accurate records and document all testing procedures.
    • Perform regular calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
    • This role works with epoxies and resins in a day to day environment. anyone with a epoxy resin allergy is at risk in this environment. For this reason, successful passing of an epoxy resin allergy patch test is needed. If you have an allergy to epoxy resin, our team can discuss alternative opportunities for other roles, pending qualifications.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in quality control, testing, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, testing, or a related field.
    • Knowledge of industry testing standards and practices.
    • Ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
    • Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES ARE A PLUS:

    • DT and NDT Test Method Experience (2+ years)
    • Experience in data analytics in Excel
    • Experience in six sigma/lean methodologies
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
    • PLC and HMI diagnostic/repair experience is a plus (2+ years).

    CERTIFICATIONS/LISCENCES: Must obtain and maintain the applicable employee license with the Texas Railroad Commission; must pass test within 45 days of hire. Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role requires the operator to perform the following:

    • Stand for long periods of time.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts up to 50 lbs.
    • Perform repetitive motions with the hands/wrists/arms.
    • Bending, twisting, and reaching to access the materials and machine components.
    • Pushing or pulling heavy carts or dollies.
    • Occasional climbing, balancing, and stooping to perform maintenance or adjustments to equipment.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: This role will require willingness to work in an environment:

    • noisy and dusty environment
