Responsibilities:

Track and scan all incoming mail and packages.

Ensure that all packages are handled safely and securely according to established procedures and protocols.

Carrying out initial inspection and assessment of mail items using X-ray scanners and other equipment to detect suspicious items or materials.

Comply with all rules and regulations regarding mail security, including compliance with laws and regulations established by the company and government authorities.

Report all suspicious or incorrectly marked shipments to management and appropriate security authorities.

Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information contained in mail and packages.

Requirements:

Experience in a similar position or related field is preferred.

Knowledge of security procedures and protocols associated with handling mail and packages is an asset.

Ability to operate X-ray scanners and other technological safety equipment.

Attention to detail and ability to detect anomalies or suspicious items.

Willingness to work under variable or non-standard schedules.

Pay:
$ $24.62 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
