General Summary:


Leverages an understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes and procedures (e.g., demand metrics, supply levels, customer pushout) to analyze, report, and resolve supply planning activities.

Monitors the schedule, and scope of product(s).

Manages the demand signal by using the Demand Statement and other reports to plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the manufacturing production cycle.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain, Product Planning, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Business Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience working in production and materials management in semiconductor industry.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Prepares and contributes to reports (e.g., customer attach rates, supply chain briefs) for stakeholder and management review based on an indepth understanding of supply chain processes and interdependencies.
  • Meets highly complex endtoend product supply commitments (e.g., supply levels, pullin/pushouts) and assists other analysts according to forecast and sales orders.
  • Leads supply chain activities that are aligned with business unit objectives for products or technology, including creating and managing demand signal plans and estimates; updates the Demand Statement and ensures customer ship metrics are met.
  • Manages and contributes to capacity forecasts, material planning, scheduling, and requirements that meet changing customer demands or product needs.
  • Manages overall supply base including fulfillment of deliveries that maximize organizational benefits and objectives.
  • Researches, evaluates, and prepares highly complex reports to support procurement, product business plans, trend assessments and product availability; helps others do the same.
  • Processes and reviews highly complex purchase requisitions, change orders and coordinates purchasing activities with multiple business units to maintain inventory at planned levels.
  • Collaborates with other functions to execute projects and negotiations based on an understanding of factors such as design changes, cost targets, and changes to scheduled and quantities.
  • Identifies and supports the resolution of supply chain issues including engaging in next steps and identifying associated risks.
  • Makes decisions on complex issues that impact business results and arise within one's own area of work.
  • Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for small to midsized projects.
  • Rescopes projects, identifies resources, delegates work, and reviews the work of team members in order to address changing timelines or priorities.

Level of Responsibility:


  • Works under some supervision.
  • Provides some supervision/guidance to other members; does not have direct reports.
  • Decisions are moderate in nature. Errors are detected and corrected with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships. May require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
  • Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
  • Most tasks do not have defined steps; simultaneous use of multiple mental abilities is generally required to determine the best approach; mistakes may result in significant rework.
  • Creativity is needed to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.
  • Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.

$99, $149,000.00
