Warehouse Associate - San Leandro, United States - Continental Sales & Marketing

Description

You will be responsible for providing warehouse support including picking, packing, kitting, sorting returns, shipping orders amongst other tasks and duties to meet the facility's productivity and quality demands.

• Proficiency in navigating through handheld terminal/scanner menus to accurately execute picking, packing, shipping ground and freight orders, etc.

• Organized and efficient with physically packing orders, competency with computers for shipping of products.
• Replenish primary locations by utilizing 'locate item' and 'stock movement' functions virtually. Physically unwrap pallets and neatly stack cartons/pallet in the primary pick location for each product.
• Receiving goods by unloading inbound containers, verify counts, and utilizing the RF scanners to input the product into the ERP system.
• Cycle count locations or product to obtain an accurate on hand inventory number as needed.
• General facility cleanliness. Keep work area and tools clean, organized, and in good working condition. Keep primary pick locations and aisles clean and tidy while fulfilling orders.
• Properly sort returned product. Utilize 'stock movement' functionality to complete Go
• Backs for resalable inventory.
• Forklift proficiency to load freight/move product throughout the warehouse safely.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and/or jump from one assignment to another assignment as needed.
• Ability to work in a teamoriented environment and communicate well with management and other team workers.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional behavior/demeanor in a fastpaced agile environment.
• At least 2 years of previous work experience in a pick/pack/ship role of a warehouse using handheld scanning technology.

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• Forklift Certified/equivalent experience.
• Must successfully pass drug screen and background check.
• Needs to be able to work 40 plus hours per week, some overtime may be required.
• Ability to lift 50 Ibs on a regular basis.
• Able to walk and/or stand for full shift periods.
• Provide 3 positive work references.
