    Job Title: Team Leader

    Description:

    • Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Assistant Controller, responsible for accounting functions including preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations as needed for monthly closing.
    • Specific Duties:
      • Fixed Assets: Balancing capital purchases, recording additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation monthly.
      • Preparing journal entries, reports, and account analysis.
      • Assisting with Inventory audits and monitoring Inventory accounts.
      • Preparing schedules for audits, tax work papers, and annual operating budget.
    • Skills & Abilities:
      • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
      • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and completeness.
      • Effective communication skills.
      • Ability to work well in a team.
    • Qualifications:
      • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
      • 3 years of related work experience.
      • Advanced Excel and Word skills.
      • Ability to prepare accounting reports.

      Company Overview:

      Conair, part of the IPEG Industrial Group, is a leading manufacturer of auxiliary equipment for the plastics processing industry. Offering a wide range of products including resin-drying systems, blenders, feeders, and more.

      Team Leader Role:

      The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing a manufacturing team to achieve efficiency and productivity goals. This role involves assembling and testing mechanical and electrical components for Conair products.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Directing and supervising assemblers in a specific product line.
      • Assembling equipment based on specifications and work orders.
      • Ensuring orders are processed on time and meeting quality standards.
      • Developing and training team members in continuous improvement.
      • Aligning team goals with company directives.
      • Communicating with engineering for updates and customer requests.
      • Maintaining assembly records and evaluating performance.
      • Ensuring a safe work environment and following procedures.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications and Work Experience:

      • High School Diploma/GED or ten (10)+ years of relevant work experience.
      • Leadership experience preferred.
      • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
      • Basic math skills and team function understanding.
