About Us

At the German Adult Education Center (DEB), we train the next generation of Pharmaceutical Technical Assistants (PTAs) at our vocational schools. Our goal is to support you in reaching your full potential on your path to a career.

Your Responsibilities

As an aspiring PTA, you will learn to...

1. Manufacture medications: You will actively participate in the production of medications and gain insight into the manufacturing process. You will acquire extensive knowledge about the ingredients of medications, their effects on the body, and potential side effects and interactions.

2. Advise customers and sell medications: You will learn to dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications to customers and provide professional advice.

3. Monitor inventory: You will assist pharmacists in monitoring and managing inventory levels.

You have a high school diploma or equivalent education.
You may also apply if you have a secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification and have completed a (minimum) two-year vocational training.
