    Description


    Do you have an eye for detail? Are you able to accurately identify technical problems with a passion for solving them? Have you worked in the electronics engineering & manufacturing industry? As a Quality Engineer, you would be responsible for the inspection, and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure company-wide compliance with our Total Quality Management System(s) and customer requirements.

    You would also be responsible for quality and configuration management of process improvements, documentation accuracy, and passing third party certification audits to maintain CME's certification and standards.

    CME is a small, woman-owned business, and a great place to work. You'll work with fantastic folks on a mission to get it done and get it done right.

    You'll work under a boss that is as cool as they come, who plays in a band in his spare time.

    Here are some of our requirements:
    Experience in AS9100 with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and CMMI (Required)
    Ability to read & interpret specs, drawings/schematics, and part lists including prior experience with electrical, electronics, and/or mechanical components for build requirements
    Experience with EIA-649 Configuration Management (Preferred)
    Strong analytical and computer skills for various reports on product and process quality, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    Identification of technical problems & development of sound/carefully thought-out solutions
    Selecting and using training/instructional methods and appropriate procedures
    Understand and follow chemical safety requirements, and safety rules and regulations
    Understanding of ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint or similar
    High School or AA/AS degree (trade or tech school) from an Accredited College/University
    BS/BA in Engineering or related field from an Accredited College/University (preferred)

    Positions with CME require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations.
