Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Partum


Location:
Winchester, MA


Duration: 13 weeks contract


Shifts Available:
Days (7:00 am - 7:00 pm) and Nights (7:00 pm - 7:00 am), both available, every third weekend


Pay Package:


$30/hr on W2 + $1440(Weekly non taxable stipend)

$2520(Weekly Gross)

Requirements:


  • Active Massachusetts RN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Previous experience in Post Partum couplet care
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Mother/baby care experience
  • COVID Vaccines + Booster required at time of submission

Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive care to postpartum mothers and their newborns
  • Assess the physical and emotional health of mothers and newborns
  • Monitor vital signs and observe for any signs of complications
  • Assist with breastfeeding education and support
  • Administer medications as prescribed and perform procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care techniques
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records

Staffing Ratio:


  • Usual staffing ratio of 4 couplets to 1 RN on nights
