Description

We are a consulting firm specializing in Recruiting Process Outsourcing (RPO). On behalf of a mechanical engineering company from the Pasadena Hills region, we are looking for a Software Test Engineer (m/f/d).

Responsibilities:

Together with an interdisciplinary team, you will develop an innovative software platform that our business units Electronics Production Equipment, Moulding Machines, and Automation use to realize production solutions
You will develop test concepts and strategies to continuously improve software quality and actively shape the further development of testing and acceptance processes
In close coordination with the Product Owner, Requirements Engineer, and development team, you will analyze requirements and derive test specifications, test plans, and test cases
You will create automated tests using modern tools and test infrastructures, coordinate the execution of manual tests, and be responsible for evaluating and documenting test results
You will advise the business units that realize innovative products based on the software platform and share best practices in the testing environment

Requirements:

You have successfully completed studies in computer science, engineering, or a comparable vocational training
You have professional experience as a Quality Assurance or Test Engineer in software development and quality assurance and have experience in test conception, test processes, and tools. Certification according to ISTQB standard or comparable is desirable
You have practical experience in manual
