Adjacent to Union Square Park and just steps away from Fifth Avenue, THE WELL New York is an integrated wellness center in the heart of New York City.

The 13,000-square-foot space brings together modern medicine and ancient healing practices that focus on whole-person health.

The brand's flagship location includes a full-service spa (featuring a steam room, dry and infrared saunas, as well as treatment rooms for bodywork and skin care), a functional medicine practice and health coaching, Chinese medicine and acupuncture, an organic wellness café, yoga and meditation studios, a foot rub and IV therapy lounge and an innovative posture lab.

The Role THE WELL is seeking a Wellness Attendant

If you have a drive for success, a passion for wellness, a strong desire to work in a growing startup and are looking for a new and exciting career opportunity in janitorial services & guest relations, we want to hear from you.

Janitorial Services

• Ensures all areas of the club, HQ space, and back of the house space are perfectly clean, organized and sanitized at all times, including both staff and guest facing areas.
• Maintain clean, organize and properly stock work areas and equipment.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the locker room space. Ensures lockers are prepared for member services and that amenities are refilled throughout the day. Spot check, clean and disinfect all high touch areas, water closets and showers through the day.
• Follows a detailed morning and evening checklist to prepare the club for opening and closing. Includes dusting, mopping, sweeping, organization, sanitizing, disinfecting etc.
• Ensures all linen is ready for members and treatments.
• Prepares guest service areas for use including but not limited to the cold plunge, infrared, gym and movement studio.
• Takes inventory of all guests supplies on a weekly basis and reports back to Lead/Manager.
• Recognize and report all missing, damaged or substandard fixtures and equipment.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Guest Relations

• Maintain the highest standard of guest service by following THE WELL's protocols and displaying genuine care and attention to detail.
• Conduct club tours for guests, members. Act as an Ambassador for THE WELL at all times.
• Consistently record guest preferences, accurately updating guest profiles and communicating any relevant information to colleagues.
• Ensure confidentiality at all times including data protection, medical details and any information provided in confidence by the client.
• Report any guest complaints to the Manager on Duty so that they can be handled promptly and effectively.

General

• Daytoday responsibility for equipment, products, cleanliness, etc.
• Receive training on all relevant legislation pertaining to the Health and Safety at Work Law and Health and Hygiene standards.
• Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene per company Grooming Standards.
• Always be punctual and prepared.
• Must adhere to training protocols and attend all training courses deemed necessary.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
