This role will oversee all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to quality control and personnel management. Your goal will be to drive productivity, minimize downtime, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources. Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and engineering to ensure seamless production flow.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high product standards Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
- Process Improvement: Continuously analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency enhancements. Collaborate with the engineering team to introduce new technologies and processes that enhance productivity and quality.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and line workers, providing guidance and support to ensure team cohesion and performance. Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety training and awareness programs to promote a culture of safety within the plant.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, is preferred
- Proven experience (5+ years) in production management within the automotive manufacturing industry, preferred
- Previous experience with stamping, welding and or fabrication operations, preferred
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in using production planning and ERP software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, drive cost reductions, and improve operational efficiency. What's on Offer
