About the Role:


  • Review and update Technical and Maintenance manuals
  • Review ECPs
  • Generate/update Allowance Parts Lists (APLs)
  • Generate/update Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs)
  • Support configuration management
  • Plan and respond to equipment nomenclature changes (updates to ILS artifacts)
  • Support the management of obsolescence/DMSMS
  • Assess system failure rates and implement FRACAS DB
  • Assess system reliability, maintainability, and availability
  • Support supportability planning and assessments
  • Design and feasibility analysis of proposed logistics elements of new, existing, and refurbished systems/subsystems
  • Support Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
  • Support ILS certification and ILS certification planning
This position is in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to St. Mary's County, Maryland, or surrounding areas.

Must haves:


  • Bachelor's degree in a Businessrelated discipline and at least four years of logistics analyst experience OR associate degree and at least eight years of logistics analyst experience OR High School diploma and at least 12 years of logistics analyst experience
  • Two years of experience in Dept of Navy programs
  • Experience should include analysis of logistics programs, maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance (Secret)

Contract Specific requirements and Experience

  • DAU Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management Certification Course ACQ 10
  • Professional Logistics Certification
  • Familiarity with and/or experience in Integrated Logistics Support of surface ship Navy programs
