    Job Description1st Shift Stamping Press OperatorLocation: Bridgman, MISchedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, with overtime as neededHourly Rate: $17.00 per hour Summary:We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual for 1st Shift Stamping Press Operator. This role will involve operating stamping presses to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. If you have experience in press operation and a strong attention to detail, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
    Responsibilities:
    • Press Operation: Set up and operate stamping presses to produce parts according to production requirements.
    • Quality Control: Monitor production output and inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Machine Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks on stamping presses, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
    • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with stamping presses, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
    • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

    Qualifications:
    • Previous experience as a stamping press operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
    • Knowledge of stamping press operation techniques and equipment.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
    • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Commitment to workplace safety.
    • Good work history and reliable transportation a must
