Promote a design-focused mindset by advocating for the value of design thinking, upholding our principles, and maintaining high quality standards in Hewlett, NY.

Oversee team performance, resource allocation, project prioritization, and foster a culture of design excellence.
Develop and refine designs within our Design System and adhere to established standards.
Take an empathetic approach to managing, supporting the growth and success of team members.
Encourage collaboration with product and project managers, UX researchers, and engineers both within and outside the organization.
Challenge decisions, processes, and approaches to continuously improve.
Ensure team structure allows for individual growth and aligns with business needs.

Solicit and provide feedback from designers and other teams to elevate the quality of our work, while also serving as a mentor.

Build and lead a diverse and inclusive team of designers who consistently deliver high-quality projects and possess a range of design skills.

Facilitate the delivery of top-notch work, providing clear and effective feedback on UI-level workflow and interaction design through written feedback, critiques, and one-on-one sessions.

Prioritize solutions that drive value for the business, make informed decisions about quality and effort trade-offs, and track key metrics.

Be willing and able to contribute hands-on work when necessary.

Your Background:
At least 2 years of experience managing and mentoring teams.
4+ years of design experience, including interaction and visual design, with proficiency across multiple platforms.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and user research.
