- Licencia válida de la Junta de Enfermería de Alabama para ejercer como enfermero registrado.
- Mínimo de un (1) año de experiencia en un entorno hospitalario o de salud comunitaria.
- Cualquier otro certificado requerido por la ley estatal.
- Tarjeta válida de RCP.
- Licencia de conducir válida de Alabama y la capacidad de tener acceso a transporte adecuado para viajar entre los sitios de trabajo en todo el sistema escolar.

- Conocimiento de las funciones del sistema escolar, departamentos, personal y escuelas necesarios para el procesamiento eficiente y efectivo de las comunicaciones, solicitud de información necesaria e implementación de los programas de enfermería escolar.
- Capacidad física y emocional y destreza para realizar el trabajo requerido y moverse según sea necesario en un entorno laboral de ritmo rápido.
