    Job Description

    Product Surveillance Analyst / Laboratory Technician

    Location: Plymouth, MN 55442

    Hourly Rate: $25 on W2

    Contract Duration: 1 year

    • Onsite positions 100%
    • Interviews conducted in person on-site
    • Prefer local candidates, not considering applicants requiring relocation
    • Requirements: STEM field degree, 4-year degree with 0-2 years' experience or 2-year degree with specific experience in complaint handling (2+ years), Master's degree considered overqualified
    • Previous medical device and lab experience are advantageous
    • Healthcare experience beneficial, familiarity with medical terminology
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, daily technical writing required
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, understanding regulations and procedures
    • Organizational skills and ability to follow up promptly, staying updated with reporting responsibilities

    Lab Based Position (1):

    • Work in product performance engineering lab
    • Handle returned complaints, conduct device investigations
    • Ensure devices meet design requirements
    • Document results, conduct root cause analysis, work cross-functionally
    • 70% time spent in the lab, 30% at desk writing investigations

    File Manager Position (2):

    • Initiate and manage complaint files, collaborate with field personnel
    • Ensure compliant files are complete and meet regulations
    • Compose customer letters, assist in reportability assessments with lab personnel
    • Work collaboratively with all teams
