Mental Health Clinician - Austin, United States - Austin Bilingual Therapy, PLLC

Description

Provides one or more of the following services: individual therapy, couple's counseling, and/or group counseling in a private practice setting.

• Conduct intake interviews and assess client's needs.
• Develop treatment plans and assess progress of treatment.
• Use evidencebased treatment approaches to treat a variety of clinical issues.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and make adjustments as necessary.
• Write reports, summaries, and other documents as needed.
• Maintain appropriate mental health records.
• Comply with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
• Assess and manage mental health emergencies.
• Facilitate coordination of services for clients and provide referrals as needed.
• Facilitate group counseling services and workshops.
• Comply with practice policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Doctoral or Master's level degree in mental health.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Texas (full)
• Must have own liability insurance.
• Two years of experience providing psychological or mental health services.
• Ability to use Electronic Health Records.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or other languages (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
