    JOB SUMMARY
    This role involves outside sales responsibilities focused on promoting company products and services, as well as nurturing relationships with new and existing clients. The primary aim is to help Sysco customers thrive while meeting set sales and profit targets. This position may require working unconventional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) to address customer needs effectively.

    RESPONSIBILITIES.

    • Establish new business, expand existing accounts, and minimize attrition to drive profitable sales growth and achieve specific objectives within the assigned territory
    • Identify and evaluate potential leads in line with company objectives
    • Analyze customer requirements and propose suitable product and service offerings
    • Keep abreast of market trends, recommend products based on specific customer needs, and share relevant information with clients as added value
    • Address customer queries regarding products, pricing, availability, and usage
    • Provide product details and practical training to customer staff
    • Travel to customer sites, events, and meetings as needed
    • Manage accounts receivable, coordinating with the credit department as necessary
    • Oversee deliveries as per the transportation schedule, resolving any issues promptly
    • Engage in company events, promotions, and client interactions
    • Attend sales and district meetings regularly
    • Participate in ongoing training sessions and assist in onboarding new team members when required
    • Analyze daily and weekly reports, handle administrative tasks, and support sales operations
    • Perform any other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Education/Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field OR HSD/GED with 3 years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales, or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proficiency in two languages
    • Previous experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or as a Chef

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Adequate automobile insurance coverage

    Requirement

    • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings (Drug Screen, Background Check)
    • Agreement to Sysco Protective Covenants
    • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the specified territory
