We are looking for a
Team Leader "Coding and MD Processing" (m/f/d) for the Finance department, starting on July 1, 2023, in a full-time and permanent position.

The B6 department, Medical Controlling, is part of the B - Finance department.

It serves as a link between the administrative area of the hospital and the medical-clinical operations for questions related to billing and coding.


The goal in the inpatient and outpatient areas is to secure revenue, optimize coding, documentation, and MD processes, as well as further develop the aG-DRG system to accurately reflect the treatments performed at the university hospital.


Your responsibilities:


  • Bringing together the medical coding specialists from the clinics for anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, general, visceral and transplant surgery, thoracic, heart and vascular surgery, orthopedics, and urology, including a deputy team leader, into one joint team
  • Leading this new joint team "Coding and MD Processing" in all relevant professional and personnel tasks
