Description
Responsibilities:
- Enter sequencing sample information into LIMS
- Pick and grow bacterial cultures for plasmid and genomic DNA purification
- Prepare DNA template, PCR amplification and purification
- Process sequencing template, including: Preparation, amplification and PCR purification.
- Perform routine maintenance of DNA sequencers
- Check inventory and replenish consumable sequencing supplies
- Prepare buffers and related solutions
- Become familiar with sequencing data analysis
- Assist with sequencing troubleshooting efforts
- Be an effective teamplayer committed to company goals
- Assist and maintain the cleanliness of work area
Qualifications:
- AS degree or higher in biological sciences or a related discipline required
- Must be able to work night shift from8PM to 4:30AM
- Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Strong record keeping skills, well organized
- Follow (SOPs) Standard Operating Protocols closely
- Selfmotivated
- Ability to multitask, be detailed oriented, Disciplined and meet company deadlines
- Takes initiative and able to react in work situation with a sense of urgency
- Functions well in a fast paced, customeroriented environment
Job Types:

$ $24.00 per hour
