Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour


What Will You Be Doing?


As our new Warehouse Associate you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our suppliers, team, and company.

Your contributions will have a direct impact on our success and yours.

Some of your duties will include:
Receiving

  • Use scales to validate quantities of products received.
  • Scanvalidated items received are automatically entered into the ERP system for put away.
  • Verify documents and certificates are with products received.
  • Maintain and verify accurate inventory and cycle counts.
Shipping

  • Prepare pallets and freight
  • Use pallet jacks to move product
  • Prepare Bill of Ladings (BOL)
  • Create Commercial Invoices for international shipments.
  • Weigh parts and boxes to get net weight for costs.
  • Create shipping labels and tracking numbers.
  • Use customer portals for advance shipping notices (ASN's) as necessary.
  • Inspect orders for correct routing, quantities, and destinations.
  • Process product shipping requirements in an ERP system.
  • Prioritize assigned customer shipments by due date
Kitting

  • Validate materials and separate according to specifications.
  • Manage products and materials efficiently.
  • Build various types of customer kits using general tools and packaging.
  • Deliver completed kits to final inspection for review and shipment.

VMI

  • Maintain and replenish customer bins as necessary.
  • Scan barcode to ensure items are ordered for replenishment.
  • Scan items into SAP with hand scanners
  • Follow other directions that a customer may need assistance with related to the inventory management.

All Position Must:

  • Maintain clean and neat work areas.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:


What are we looking for is...

Education/Experience:

  • High School Education or equivalent
  • 1year minimum experience in a similar warehouse environment or industry
  • Handson experience with stocking, labeling, and organizing products for delivery.

What you need to know:

  • Understanding of databases
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems

Skills:


  • Data entry skills
  • Beginning level computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Basic math skills
  • Demonstrated basic material handling including packaging.
  • Able to use warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Accurately perform operational tasks assigned accurately, timely, and errorfree
  • Clear and concise documentation skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Dependability and reliability

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Forklift certification plus but not required

  • Ensure varying quota numbers are met for the position assigned.
  • Pick Pack's monthly target average is 85 jobs per day.
  • Receiving Dock's personal monthly target average is 2035 vendor purchase orders per day.
  • Inventory personal monthly target average is 125 cycles per day and put away of 159 items per day.
  • Kitting personal monthly target average is 2025 kits per day
