Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures
- Assign appropriate codes to medical procedures and diagnoses using ICD10 and CPT coding systems
- Ensure compliance with all coding guidelines and regulations
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all coding activities
Requirements:
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification
- Strong knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding systems
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
