Business Unit AMD Molecular (AMD)

Comments:


  • This is an onsite role.
  • Looking for a Senior Scientist to join our engineering team at Client Molecular.

In this role, a scientist will:

  • Design/draft verification protocols/records for sensitivity, precision and linearity for molecular based assays.
  • Develop DOE for studies to support testing of commodities on the Alinity m platform
  • Have a strong analytical background and can recommend analytical studies to investigation commodity related issues
- mine large datasets to identify trends or anomalies, then dive deep to get to a mechanistic root cause

  • Manage the day to day activities of two scientists
  • An MS in Biochemistry, biology, physics, or chemistry (Ph.
D. is preferred)

  • A good understanding of molecular biology (especially PCR)
  • Experience with molecular assay testing
  • Strong mathematical intuition
  • Excellent investigative data analysis skills
  • JMP or statistical software
  • PowerBI

Education:


  • Doctorate (preferred)

Experience:


  • Molecular biology: 3 years (preferred)
  • PCR: 3 years (preferred)
- molecular assay testing: 3 years (preferred)
- data analysis skills: 3 years (preferred)

  • JMP or statistical software
: 1 year (preferred)
