Title:
IT Security Analyst**
Location: Newark, CA (Onsite) Need Locals only

Need Independent consultants

Required or Preferred Skills:


  • Monitor computer networks for security issues.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents.
  • Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
  • Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
  • Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a highsecurity standard. Stay current on IT security trends and news.
  • Develop companywide best practices for IT security
  • Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management.
  • Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
  • Stay uptodate on information technology trends and security standards
  • Minimum 5 years of prior handson experience in cyber security or information technology discipline
  • Bachelors degree in Cyber Security, Computer science or relevant work experience
  • Real world experience using at least one major SIEM system
  • Experience with log analysis, event correlation, incident management procedures and systems
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking including knowledge of protocols and services
  • Security Certifications (i.e. Security+, CISSP, CEH, SANS, etc.)

Pay:
$ $55.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Security analysis: 7 years (required)
  • Cybersecurity: 6 years (required)
  • SIEM: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

  • CompTIA Security+ (required)
  • CISSP (required)
