Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Language Arts Teacher or Math Teacher to join our team.

As a Language Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for educating students in the English language, literature, and writing skills.

You will create engaging lesson plans, facilitate classroom discussions, and provide guidance to students to enhance their language arts proficiency.


Duties:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum
  • Teach students various aspects of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
  • Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language arts skills
  • Utilize instructional technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of language arts curriculum and instructional design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools for teaching purposes
  • Strong organizational skills to plan lessons and manage student assignments
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Mentoring skills to provide guidance and support to students

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
