POSITION INFO:


This position provides support and guidance for key Human Capital Management initiatives including but not limited to Associate Engagement, Performance Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Communication strategies.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Performance Management
  • Lead the effective deployment of performance management, recruiting, and onboarding across all NIBCO sites. Support process implementation and education. Recommend and implement process improvements.


  • Workforce Planning

  • Assist with the organizationwide talent review process, as required. Assist with talent identification and development, career ladders, succession planning, leader assessment, knowledge transfer, and retention strategies.


  • Employee Relations

  • Lead the routine functions of human resources. Enforce company policies and practices and provide coaching in the areas of disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.


  • Communication

  • Develop communication strategies to define NIBCO's employment value proposition. Develop content for various communication channels including internal employee portal and external company websites.


  • Compliance

  • Ensure plans, programs, and policies are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Build business partnerships throughout the business and participate in projects with colleagues at all levels to achieve Company objectives.
  • Support and promote company initiatives and events including but not limited to employerofchoice, employee engagement, company ambassador, and community involvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:


EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or relevant field of study preferred. PHR or SPHR preferred.


TRAINING AND SKILLS:

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; problem-solving/analytical skills, project planning and management skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management. Knowledge of SharePoint, SuccessFactors, and / or web experience a plus.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

Standard corporate office environment. Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to communicate clearly.
