    Project Engineer at Aquacycl
    This Describes You
    You are a mid-level project engineer with mechanical engineering experience in the water industry or hydraulic systems in general.

    Planning projects, selecting equipment, and creating design schematics are your specialties, and you thrive in an environment with new challenges.

    You are interested in traveling to customer sites and seeing your designs come to life.

    The Task At Hand

    The Project Engineer will work closely with the sales, manufacturing, and systems operations team to plan technical specifications for the effective installation of the BETT system at customer sites.

    Predicting equipment selection for unique customers is a significant challenge.

    With 3 current installations and 5 potential new projects in 2024, the Project Engineer must design and select appropriate water-related equipment to complement the system at each customer site.

    In This Role You Will

    Efficiently design site layouts to provide solutions for customer challenges

    Identify vendors, equipment, and integrations that address company needs

    Select pre and post-treatment technologies to complement Aquacycl systems

    Create project status reports and maintain project schedules

    Communicate with customers to provide system design progress updates

    Skills and Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

    3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience in the water industry or hydraulic systems

    Knowledge of hydraulic systems design and operation

    Experience in equipment selection, particularly pumps, valves, and level transmitters

    Familiarity with PLC and HMI systems

    Experience with PVC and general plumbing knowledge

    Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Onshape

    Location
    San Diego, CA (Escondido)

    Compensation
    $85,000 - $95,000 annually
