    Manages project tasks of small engineering project team with little direct supervision.

    Creates and monitors project schedule for completion.

    Acts as engineering point of contact for customer.

    Job Core Responsibilities


    Manages project resources and team from receipt of initial requirements through design, development/certification and into initial production in accordance with project schedule and applicable regulatory, customer, and Business requirements.

    Creates and monitors project status. Prepares summary project schedules, conducts budget analysis, develops cost and margin projects, and procures equipment and materials.


    Interprets requirements and prepares a variety of technical documentation, including compliance matrices, technical proposals, Risk Management, DFMEAs, test reports, and Declaration of Design and Performance (DDP).

    Serves as liaison between program/project manager and engineering team. Receives direction from and executes tasks based on coordination with supervisor and program/project manager. Acts as engineering point of contact for program interface to customers including program reviews and technical communications.

    Create detailed day-by-day test schedule of people, equipment, and test units; Coordinate engineering team on test schedule execution

    Ensure test readiness and timely execution of verification testing; Review test procedures, design test fixtures, select and procure test equipment as needed

    Electro-mechanical Experience Preferred

    Represents engineering at all internal program/project team meetings. Supports departmental tasks as necessary.
