    Job DescriptionSterling Engineering is a growing staffing and engineering services firm that specializes in placing top talent in the U.S and Ireland. We have paired up with a 100+ year company in the conveyor space on bringing in a Sales Engineer to join their team. This person will have the opportunity to increase their pay by 20% with their commission structure.
    Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate to define and outline opportunities for end users and integrators, considering factors like speeds, feeds, and functionality.
    • Design and provide quotations for end user and integrator platforms.
    • Foster the promotion and advancement of conveyor group products.
    • Continuously enhance technical and product knowledge to effectively address varied applications.
    • Actively participate in and support trade shows.
    • Attain Subject Matter Expert status in relevant domains.
    • Collaborate closely with the conveyor team to meet customer requirements effectively.
    Technical/Computer Skills:
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
    • Familiarity with conveyor system components, controls, and safety standards.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Experience in conceptualizing and designing mechanized material handling systems.
    • Ability to document and update project specifications, drawings, and manuals.
    • Proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning conveyor systems.
    Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
