Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending appropriate products.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the pointofsale (POS) system.
  • Assist customers in locating products within the store and provide product information and pricing.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and stock shelves accordingly.
  • Pick and pack orders for customer pickup or delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, identifying discrepancies, and reporting findings to management.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and Offload trucks and occasionally route and dispatch AWISCO trucks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the store, cylinder dock, and warehouse.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse setting.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to lift 50lb objects without assistance and operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license (required).

  • Frequently required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds
  • Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
  • Occasionally work in high, precarious places

  • Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Pallet Jacks and Forklift

Pay:
$ $24.50 per hour
