Our client in Springfield, MA is looking for a locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to start as soon as possible for a 6+ month assignment, with the potential to extend, or even convert to a permanent opportunity if all goes well. They have a great hourly/daily rate, will cover all travel expenses, and willing to sign someone who would need to acquire a Massachusetts license (agency will cover all license expenses). • Start Date: ASAP - credentialing takes around 90 days, if provider needs a license around 120 days.
• Schedule: Full time, 4-5 days a week. Client is flexible and willing to consider providers who can give PT availability
• Contract Length: Until the end of 2024, with the option to extend into 2025.
• Average # of patients per day: 6-8 patients/day, running the consult service
• ​Most Common Cases: Maternal medical issues and how it will affect pregnancies, fetal concerns (which can be pre or post conception), history of obstetrics, B&B MFM

Procedures: N/A

Inpatient or outpatient setting or mix: OP Consults, could potentially be remote.

Age Range: Mostly 18+

Call requirements: N/A

Support staff onsite: 3MD, 1 AP (Full staff would be 5 total providers)

Board Certification requirements/preferences: Must be BE/BC in Maternal Fetal Medicine

Great hourly/daily rate, cover all travel expenses required, and willing to wait for license which will be paid for by agency if needed. Nearest airport to fly direct into is Hartford (30 mins away) or Boston (hour and a half away)
