Lead Retail Associate (Huddle) Part Time

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Lead _Retail Associate_ within the Huddle.

The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

The Lead Retail Associate provides the Notre Dame community and guests with the very best in foods and services.

Makes all guests feel welcome by providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and being responsive to the changing needs and desires of our customers.

Prepares a variety of food items in multi-unit food and beverage operations & a convenience store for delivery service and catering functions.

Could include some customer pick up food and beverage for small office meetings. Responsible for ordering & inventory control of all items in a retail unit. Works directly with the management team to insure COGS are at or below set targets. Responsible for performing all tasks relating to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilities. Supervises the Retail Associates and Cooks. Certified or actively pursuing brand certification in all units. Must pass Serv-safe & AllerTrain examinations and have the ability to run a shift without a manager present.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 to 2 years experience.

Must be able to stand for several hours at a time.

Available to work home football game weekends.

Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to lift 25 lbs

Prior food or cash handling experience.
