Description
The School of Nursing at Cedar Crest College is accepting applications for a half-time, 12-month faculty position focusing primarily on the graduate-level nursing AGACNP track.
This position will provide classroom and online teaching, simulation and clinical instruction, student advisement, and supervision of DNP scholarly projects for BSN-DNP students.
Responsibilities include related duties such as college committee work, School of Nursing and departmental duties, and continuing professional development.This position supports the program in maintaining compliance with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and Accreditation Commission for Nursing Education (ACEN) educational programs and guidelines.
A multimillion-dollar state-of-the-art Nursing Simulation Center and an integrated Standardized Patient program provide realistic practice settings and complement student learning.
Cedar Crest enrolls over 1400 students through our co-educational School for Adult and Graduate Education and our traditional programs for women.

The successful candidate will possess a nursing doctorate degree and hold or be qualified for an unencumbered advanced practice RN license in PA.
Qualified applicants should have a minimum of one year of clinical experience in the specialty of adult acute care advanced practice and prior classroom teaching, simulation, and distance education experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills as a member of the School of Nursing are essential. Candidates with prior experience with program and curriculum development, assessment, and evaluation are strongly preferred.
