Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria for Systems Engineering with a focus on mechanical process systems design (new designs and/or existing plant modifications)
Broad interdisciplinary knowledge/experience of existing commercial LWRs and experience working with the government (e.g. DOE, DOD)

As a Design Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit.
This position is for an ambitious individual with strong technical knowledge, demonstrated leadership skills, unwavering commitment to safety, and a penchant to "make it happen.
" Your work will include:Develop and maintain requisite knowledge of Advanced Reactor designs and Framatome techno-bricks to perform the function of the Technical Conscience of the organization
Lead and/or contribute to Advanced Reactor development and deployment projects
Lead and/or contribute to R&D activities to develop new products and services for Advanced Reactors
Support DOE advanced reactor initiatives and upgrade of DOE/DOD facilities to support their advanced reactor initiatives
Support Framatome technology risk management mission by leading and/or participating in assigned technical risk management activities
This position requires up to 25% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $82,000 - $111,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits.
Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
