Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host.
As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hospitality environment and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the appropriate staff members
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating needs and exceeding expectations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
