- Designs, develops, coordinates, and implements the secondary prevention component of FAP.
- Responsible for case management activities occurring from initial referral and counseling, through case closure, or transfer.
- Provides professional advisory services and training to other care professionals, installation personnel, and community agencies concerning secondary prevention programs; and serves as community liaison with military and civilian agencies.
- Risk and Clinical assessment.
- Professional knowledge of clinical social work or marriage and family therapy practices, principles, and theories to carry full professional responsibility for cases involving a wide range of psychosocial, and environmental issues.
- Knowledge in the organization, management, and administration of child and family welfare services to participate in program planning and in the development and maintenance of public understanding and sound working relationships with local agencies and community agencies.
- Knowledge of a wide array of problems and disorders of children and families, and the varied resources needed to treat them.
- Skill and ability to directly apply professional diagnostic skills to individuals and families.
- Ability to evaluate and determine best application of multiple complex helping systems, various professions, and organizations; how they affect child and family welfare; and the multiple uses of such systems, professions, and organizations to deliver services.
- Ability to assess, intervene, and provide therapeutic intervention.
- US Citizenship is required
- Master's degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
- Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands
- Must have practiced as an independent licensed clinical social worker within past two years
- Must have minimum of 3 years of experience
