    Job Title: Temporary Correctional Teacher

    Company: Department of Corrections - DOC Education

    Job Type: Part-time Temporary

    Compensation: $23.04 hourly

    Description:

    This job involves performing professional teaching work at the elementary or secondary level in Lawton Community Corrections Center, using special methods and techniques to educate inmates.

    • Conducts classes in various subjects like science, biology, English, social studies, mathematics, fine arts, and physical education.
    • Plans courses, gives instructions, administers examinations, and prepares reports.
    • Utilizes special instructional materials and aids, provides individual guidance to students, and maintains classroom discipline.
    • Attends meetings, participates in program development, and maintains inventory of supplies.
    • Requires a bachelor's degree and a current Oklahoma Teaching Certificate.

    Special Requirements: This part-time position is limited to 25 hours per week and necessitates a valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate.
