- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations for children of varying ages.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric medical conditions, ensuring optimal care for each patient.
- Manage an average of 16-18 patients per day, adapting to case complexity and medical needs.
- Teach residents and medical students
- Collaborate effectively with parents or guardians to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Allocate time efficiently for 4 patient-facing 8-hour days and 1 administrative day with no clinical duties
- Provide light delivery coverage call for the hospital.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and patient confidentiality.Qualifications:
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in Vermont.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing pediatric medical conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with young patients and their families.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic pediatric care environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Willingness to participate in delivery coverage call and pediatric call for the hospital. NRP Certification and experience are preferred.
