Inova Loudoun Hospital recently unveiled a brand-new Labor and Delivery Unit, Postpartum Care Unit and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Located in our new North Patient Tower, these advanced facilities will allow us to continue to deliver exceptional birth experiences for years to come.
The Labor and Delivery Unit at Inova Loudoun Hospital has 12 labor and delivery beds and 3 C-section suites.The usual staffing assignment consists of 1 RN for 2 laboring patients and change to 1 nurse to 1 patient based on acuity and phase of labor.

The Inova Registered Nurse:
Provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.

Requirements:
Required Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience is strongly preferred.
General

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others

Proficient computer skills required
Minimum Education Requirement:
BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
