    What success looks like in this role:

    To create enterprise wide standardization for frontend engineering by helping BUs design and create re-useable components and drive consistency across all front end deliverables.

    Reduce the overall solution development cost, effort and time whereby enabling the business units to take their ideas to the market faster.


    The Consulting Engineer will provide the technical leadership to innovate, incubate and integrate a broad range of front end engineering best practices, drive standardization by use of common components, front end test automation, and drive modernization into our solutions and platforms.

    Participate in the overall planning, design and analysis of product, prototypes and/or research requirements related to one or more solution areas.

    Identify and research critical technology areas related to front end engineering, integrations, and modernizations. Identify and evaluate technologies and third-party products in the market related to architecture standardization and modernization.
    Lead and drive teams in learning and developing skills in front end engineering areas as per organizational priorities. Create business cases through collaboration with stakeholders across the organization for new proof-of-concepts (PoCs) or prototypes

    Thought leadership and development of Intellectual Property; represent Unisys in technical forums and seminars; Work closely with principal and lead engineers to develop the best architecture design and approach for solution development; Mentor and coach mid-level engineers to solve technical challenges.

    You will be successful in this role if you have:
    o

    Bachelors Degree, with a depth of relevant UI/UX experience
    o

    Must have hands on experience with Angular JS/React JS
    o

    Must have experience with building and maintain design systems
    o

    Must has experience of working in and running their own agile teams.
    o

    Experience leading and being part of a global team working across different time zones and cultures.
    o

    Excellent communications skills with the ability to interface with all levels of internal and client project teams with the ability to articulate Unisys portfolio and technology strategy
    o

    Demonstrated thought leadership through published portfolio and/or sites.
