    **Description**

    Carson is accepting applications for a Residential Customer Service Specialist to join our Portland team

    **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

    Effectively manage large amounts of incoming customer calls including taking orders and resolving customer inquiries.

    Identify and assess retail and commercial customer needs to resolve issues and achieve high satisfaction levels.

    Managing the administrative processes related to our Service department.

    Use internal systems and resources to resolve customer inquiries.

    Support marketing through research and implementation of requested projects.

    Formulate sales proposals and/or marketing material to be sent to potential customers.

    Follow up on sales, credit processes, and general questions or concerns.

    Maintain and provide exceptional service to our current and potential clients.

    Other duties as assigned by management.

    **QUALIFICATIONS**

    High school degree or equivalent.

    Experience in a related company sector.

    Understanding of dispatching and communication with field personnel.

    Positive minded person willing to help where needed.

    Ability to learn client based PDI, Kibitz and other internal systems.

    Superior written and verbal communication skills coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.

    Good prioritization of tasks and ability to function with frequent interruptions.

    Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes.

    **WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

    Majority of work conducted in office environment.

    May be required to drive in inclement weather.

    Work involves moving boxes and employee must lift, bend, stoop, pick up and move objects up to 25 lbs.

    Work schedule will vary and may include work on evenings, weekends, and holidays due to special events, inclement weather, and other projects related to timely distribution of product and services.
