- Handle phone calls, make appointments, update all information with every participant contact and log all events.
- Sort incoming mail while updating all participant information and meter outgoing mail.
- Assist consumers with making payments and provide payment histories.
- Scans documents into the computer; ensures proper placement of documents and purge in accordance with established guidelines.
- Files documents, reports all relevant correspondence.
- Performs Special Projects assigned by the Director, Specialists, and Agency Attorney.
- Conducts search verifications of clients and provides testimony in court as needed.
- Maintain document inventory with most recent versions and update website/social media.
- Handles Federal Taxpayer Information (FTI) documents in accordance with agency, state, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) rules and regulations.

Essential Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED and moderate experience in a clerical or customer service role with multi-line phone experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possession of Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint-Based Criminal Background Check, Wisconsin Department of Justice Criminal History Record, Internal Revenue Service's Safeguarding Federal Tax Information and Program Security, and Confidentiality training upon hire.
Obtain Bureau of Child Support and Wisconsin Department of Children and Families training within 6 months of hire. Valid driver's license in the State of Wisconsin.Additional Information
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Thorough knowledge of County and department policies and procedures to include emergency and inclement weather policies; ability to prioritize and manage multiple, concurrent projects; attention to detail and ability to effectively organize time and anticipate, plan and successfully respond to changing circumstances; knowledge of multi-line phone system; ability to file documents; ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; office supply maintenance, ability to operate and use standard office equipment; knowledge and ability to use standard office and position-specific software; ability to type accurately and at a reasonable rate of speed; ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, other departments and the general public; must be familiar with security practices of the courthouse as well as office security, file security, client confidentiality and the well-being of agency staff.
