Assesses, diagnoses, and provides care to general OB/GYN patients.
Obtains detailed medical history, reviews medical records, and performs appropriate physical examination.
Orders appropriate lab work and diagnostic imaging
Performs basic GYN procedures.
Responds to phone messages from patients and nurse triage.

Requirements:Summary
The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner functions as an important member of the healthcare team by providing care, comfort, and safety to our patients. Minnesota Women's Care is a private patient focused practice providing personalized, state-of-the-art medical care to women of all ages. We are currently looking for an experienced nurse practitioner to join this exciting, fast-paced practice. If you share our commitment to innovative and personalized care, we'd love to talk with you.
Essential Functions and Qualifications
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience working as a WHNP in a clinical setting preferred.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current Minnesota RN and women's health nurse practitioner licensures and CPR certification.
Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
Strong charting/documentation skills.
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
