    Information Systems Security Engineer

    Key Role:

    Conduct testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors in systems and networks, develop exploits, and engineer attack methodologies. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) with Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or IT Service Management
  • 5+ years of experience with guiding clients through the entire RMF and Authorization to Operate (ATO) process
  • Experience with using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) or Marine Corps Compliance and Authorization Support Tool (MCCAST) to manage RMF packages
  • Experience with engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components
  • Ability to validate the implementation of security controls and provide guidance in accordance with NIST SP 800-53A Rev. 4 and DoD publications
  • Ability to work independently to lead the development of RMF documentation and artifacts to achieve system certification, accreditation, assessment, and authorization
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
  • IAT or IAM Level II Certification, including Security+, CISM, or CISSP

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
