    Job DescriptionProfessional/General Liability Attorney

    Career Consulting Partners is partnered with a premier full-service firm in search of a Litigation attorney to work on a hybrid basis out of the Long Beach office (come in as needed). You will carry out all litigation phases, from case management and motion practice to mediation and trials. Our team includes effective and seasoned legal professionals dedicated to providing consistent mentorship to aspiring associate attorneys. This position offers independence and growth opportunities while still providing mentoring, oversight, and a collegial, supportive environment.

    Our services cover a wide range of legal areas, including Premises Liability, Product Liability, Insurance Defense, Personal Injury, Labor and Employment, Breach of Contracts, Sexual Harassment, Civil Rights Claims, Trucking Accidents, Environmental and Toxic Exposure, and Workers' Compensation.

    Responsibilities:
    • Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, and independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
    • Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
    • Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issues.
    • Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.
    • Responsible for the prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases; and
    • Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions.
    Qualifications:
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • CA Bar Admission and in good standing with CA State Bar
    • 1 - 10 years of litigation experience

    • Base Compensation: $120,000 - $225,000 (D.O.E.)
