Compensation:

$22 - $25 hourly


Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents and correspondence, including client case updates and closing letters, etc., under the supervision and guidance of a professional legal administrator and criminal attorney. Proofread documents as required.
• Follow all aspects of a case matter from start to finish
• Work within the firm's established policies and procedures for processing clients communications, court paperwork and internal and external documents.
• Communicate on the phone with courts, agencies, vendors, current clients and potential clients.

- . Draft and prepare Motions for the Attorneys and track the status through to updating the clients.

• Ensure client billing is processed properly using daily time records.
• Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly, including but not limited to scanning, photocopying and filing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 13 years previous experience working in a law firm or professional office environment performing administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, and use of CRM software
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times
• Comfortable working with all Microsoft Office products
• Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position
• Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs
• Proficient in Mac computer OS, Apple Mail, Google Suite
• Ability to work on a team
• Strong customer service, listening and problem solving skills
• College degree is preferred, but will accept significant legal work experience
