About the Role:
By assisting the Maintenance Director, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility, contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting.
- Knowledge of general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance Director in implementing the Direct Supply TELS building management program.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety and emergency protocols.
- Regularly inspect resident suites for potential hazards and address issues promptly.
- Adhere to OSHA standards for infectious waste handling.
- Promote positive interactions and excellent customer service among residents and staff.
- Assist in establishing and executing an effective preventative maintenance program.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs throughout the facility.
- Monitor and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist with equipment and furniture assembly and repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Maintain an adequate range of motion and physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing as necessary.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.

Pay:
Up to $14.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
