About the Role:

By assisting the Maintenance Director, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility, contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents and staff.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting.
Knowledge of general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Maintenance Director in implementing the Direct Supply TELS building management program.
Ensure compliance with fire safety and emergency protocols.
Regularly inspect resident suites for potential hazards and address issues promptly.
Adhere to OSHA standards for infectious waste handling.
Promote positive interactions and excellent customer service among residents and staff.
Assist in establishing and executing an effective preventative maintenance program.
Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs throughout the facility.
Monitor and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Assist with equipment and furniture assembly and repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
Maintain an adequate range of motion and physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing as necessary.
Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.

Pay:
Up to $14.00 per hour
